Women’s and Youth All Association Team Program

Women’s and Youth All Association Point System

The Greater Fox Cities Bowling Association will be selecting its Annual Women of the Year along with the First and Second All-Association Women Teams. We will also select its annual Youth Bowler of the year, Boy and Girl, and Youth All Association Team, Boys and Girls. Selections will be based on points accumulated during the Fall bowling season. Summer league scores will not be tabulated. Points can be accumulated through the following ways:

High Average: Points will be awarded for league averages bowled in USBC sanctioned / GFCBA bowling centers, based on a minimum of 60 games bowled. If a GFCBA member bowls in multiple centers, he or she will receive the highest point total achieved of all the bowling centers that he or she bowls in. Points will be awarded for ONE average only.

USBC Honor Scores: Points will be awarded for one (1) instance of a 290 thru 299 game (11 in a row), and every 300 game or 800 series bowled in a USBC/GFCBA sanctioned league or GFCBA tournament event. A 900 series will be awarded 400 points. Bowlers will be responsible for confirming their honor scores. If an honor score is missed and the bowler did not confirm it, no bonus points will be awarded. All honor score submissions must be received by the GFCBA no later than May 15th of the current season.

Association Tournament Participation: Participation points will be awarded for each GFCBA Association Tournament event bowled in. Additional points will be awarded for placing in the Top 20 of All-Events Scratch.

To receive points in the various categories, a bowler must participate in 2/3 of the league’s scheduled season. Non sanctioned leagues, and summer leagues, are NOT eligible for point awards. Averages will be based on a minimum of 60 games. Selections will be announced at the Greater Fox Cities Bowling Associations Annual banquet held the 1st Tuesday of October.
