Men’s All Association Team Program

Men’s All Association Point System

The Greater Fox Cities Bowling Association (GFCBA) will be selecting its Annual Bowler of the Year along with the First and Second All-Association Teams. Selections will be based on points accumulated during the Fall/Winter bowling leagues. Summer league scores will not be tabulated. Points can be accumulated through the following ways:

High Average: Points will be awarded for the Top 10 High averages in each USBC sanctioned / GFCBA bowling center, based on minimum of 60 games bowled. If a GFCBA member bowls in multiple centers, he or she will receive the highest point total achieved of all the bowling centers that he or she bowls in. Points will be awarded for ONE average only. For example, a bowler competes in two leagues. His averages are 205 and 218. His 205 average at Sabre Lanes is the 5th highest at that bowling center while the 218 average at Super Bowl is the 10th highest there. He would be awarded the points for the 205 average as it is the higher point award.

USBC Honor Scores: Points will be awarded for one (1) instance of a 290 – 299 game, and every 300 game or 800 series bowled in a GFCBA tournament event or USBC/GFCBA sanctioned league. A 900 series will be awarded 400 points. Bowlers will be responsible for confirming their honor scores. If an honor score is missed and the bowler did not confirm it, no bonus points will be awarded. All honor score submissions must be received by the FCBA no later than May 15th of the current season.

Association Tournament Participation: Participating points will be awarded for each GFCBA Association Tournament event bowled in. Additional points will be awarded for placing in the Top 40 of All-Events scratch score.

Match Play Tournament Participation: Participant points will be awarded for participation in the GFCBA Match Play Tournament. Additional points will be awarded for placing in the Top 20.

To receive points in the various categories, a bowler must participate in 2/3 of the leagues scheduled season. Non sanctioned leagues are NOT eligible for point awards. Averages will be based on a minimum of 60 games bowled. Selections will be announced at the Greater Fox Cities Bowling Associations Annual banquet held the 1st Tuesday of every October.
